If you are dealing with the awful realization that you need to postpone your wedding due to the novel Coronavirus, you are probably feeling a mix of panic, overwhelm, devastation and heartbreak. We are so incredibly sorry you are going through this. We are going to give you three easy steps to help you streamline the process of postponing your wedding if you don’t have a wedding planner.
- Ask your venue for 3-5 available dates for postponing your wedding. We recommend to err on the side of caution and request dates August 2020 and later.
- Go to Doodle.com and create a poll with the available dates you have been given by your venue and send that poll in an email to all of your contracted wedding vendors.
- Choose the date that majority of your vendors are available.
This will save you tons of time and emailing back and forth which will allow you more time to focus on notifying your guests, re-printing your stationery and finalizing any other details. Additionally, it will also make the process easier for your vendors.
Your wedding will happen and it will still be amazing, we promise! We are here to support you and you will get through this.
