Fun Wedding Favor Ideas
Are you gifting favors at your wedding? This is a wedding tradition that dates back many years as a little way to say “thank you” to your guests for celebrating with you. Check out some favor ideas below!
- Edible Wedding Favors
- Who doesn’t love food? Especially after a night of dancing and partying. Send your guests home with a yummy treat! Here are some edible favor ideas:
- Candy Bar- Set up a fun candy bar with your favorite candies and little take home boxes or bags for guests to fill up before they hit the road!
- Cookie Bar- Pre order some custom cookies for your special day, or have your family and friends make their best baked goods!
- Donut Bar- Okay we have all seen it, and some times I don’t love trends but…. who the heck doesn’t want a donut?!
- One of My Favorites- These yummy stroopwafels from our friends at Gourmet Wedding Gifts. They are completely customizable, delicious and adorable! Trust me- I have had them and they are SO good! They even let you try before you buy!
- Something Homemade- Does your family make syrup, hot sauce, or jelly? If so, jar some of that deliciousness up and gift it to your guests!
- Mini Bottles of Champagne or your Favorite Booze- keep the party going by giving your guests a beverage for the after party! You can even have them customized with personalized labels!
- Late Night Snack- Have your caterer come out towards the end of the night with some sliders, fries or other yummy snacks- trust me your guests will think you are the coolest and will be forever thankful.
- Coffee Grounds- Give everyone a bag of your favorite flavored coffee grounds! Now this is something just about everyone will use!

- Magnets
- I am not a huge fan of gifting someone something that will get thrown away but, I firmly believe everyone can use a good magnet for their fridge. Get some cute custom magnets with either a picture of your venue, or a cute saying and guests will use them for a life time- maybe skip the picture of you and your new spouse though because as much as they love you, they might not want to look at you every day- unless you are Ryan Reynolds- then send that magnet my way please.
- Personalized Glasses
- Although I don’t love personalize keepsakes, this is a useful one that will have people remembering your special day every time they cozy up with a glass of wine or a beer!
- Photo Booth
- Having a photo booth and providing your guests with photo strips to take home is a super fun “favor” that everyone will enjoy!
- Donation to a Charity or Multiple Charities
- This is becoming a more common favor as time goes on. Instead of spending money of favors guests are making a donation to a charity. There are a couple of fun ways to do this:
- Choose a charity that means something special to you and your partner. Leave a little card on everyone’s place setting letting them know that in lieu of favors you have chose to make a donation to said charity.
- Gift everyone with a token, or wine cork with a note informing them to place their token or wine cork in a jar of a charity they want you to donate to. Each token or wine cork can represent a dollar or whatever amount you choose. You then can have a table with jars for numerous charities and let people select where they want you to make the donation!
