Engagement Rings Have Become More and More Unique Over the Years
So we took to the good ole’ Facebook and asked around to see who out there had a unique engagement ring. The responses were overwhelming! Every ring that was submitted was an absolute stunner but here are our favorites and the stories behind them:
This Pear Shaped Bling
This is what we would consider a twist on the classic engagement ring. It goes slightly away from the classic ring but in such a powerful way that it is a true statement piece.
Stephanie and Evan and had been dating for 9 years when he proposed. Last summer they went on vacation to California where they traveled up the entire pacific coast. Halfway through their trip while exploring Big Sur, Stephanie turned around after taking a picture when Evan was down on one knee! Even though they had been together so long, she was still shocked. It was the most beautiful place she had ever been and the perfect secret spot to get engaged! Ironically enough they had no cell phone service for hours after they got engaged which was a blessing in disguise for them to enjoy the moment before telling their friends and family. They also laugh that Evan traveled across country with the ring in his luggage and a post-it note attached to the ring box for TSA that said “this is an engagement ring, please don’t spoil the surprise”.
They will be getting married at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston MA on June 15, 2019.
Congratulations Stephanie and Evan and way to go Evan on that ring!

This Opal Eye Catcher
I mean seriously, this ring is jaw dropping gorgeous and totally unique. This is a twist on the twist of the pear that was already the twist- are you still with us? This Opal stone paired with the pear shape and rose gold is flat out stunning. Great job Micah, your fiancée Brittney must be over the moon!
Micah proposed to Brittney this past summer on their 5 year anniversary. Brittney and Micah have been planning on getting married for years, but since Micah has been in the process of getting a master’s degree, Brittney never expected Micah to have the money for a ring. Micah was able to come up with enough for this ring that Micah picked out 4 years ago, knowing that Brittney was Micah’s person. After considering many different proposal ideas, Micah decided to go back to where it all started. After dinner on their 5 year anniversary Micah suggested they walk around Boston on the same walk they went on on our first date and go to a tree they sat in that hangs over the Sturrow Drive Lagoon. What Brittney didn’t know is that Micah had friends set up a bunch of Brittney’s favorite flowers and hide in the bushes with Micah’s camera. When they got to the tree, Brittney saw their friends and her first reaction was “what are you guys doing here!?” When Micah brought her over to the flowers and under their tree she started saying “wait, wait, is this happening? Is this actually happening? Is this happening right now” She was beyond surprised. Micah said Brittney is her best friend, “loving her is the easiest thing I have ever done.” Thanks for making us cry Micah!

The Square Halo
We love this beauty! This isn’t your typical halo or your typical band. If you look closely, this gorgeous ring had almost a square shaped halo and a braided band. What a beaut!
Stephanie and Eric got engaged prior to attending an away game for the New England Patriots. Stephanie’s fiancé Eric proposed to her in their hotel room. She was coming out of the bathroom after she finished getting ready and as she opened the door, there he was down on one knee, asking if she was going to wear this [her engagement ring] to the game! Stephanie was in complete shock and is not someone who is easy to surprise! It was just the perfect way to start the day and the rest of their lives together. (Also the patriots kicked the Jets butts that game too)
They are getting married September 21, 2019 in Everett MA.
