In this day and age with social media being such a big part of everyday lives, most people want a Bridesmaid proposal to be “Instagram worthy.” Whether you want it to be a big extravagant proposal, or you’d prefer to spend money on something else, below are some of our favorite ideas for your bridesmaid proposals.
- Yankee Candle – A personalized candle with your favorite picture of the two of you on it would make for a great gift that would last a long time. You can even add a note at the bottom so that you can officially pop the question! There are many different candle styles and scents (including a white – wedding day scent!!) to choose from to make each one more personalized.
- Bridesmaid Box– Everyone knows that being a bridesmaid is no easy task. It can be demanding and stressful depending on what you’re planning on tasking your bridesmaids with. Set the tone for your wedding and celebrations with a custom box. If you want the whole planning process to be a celebration and party-like, then think about adding in some champagne with a personalized champagne glass. If you want your girls to know it’s going to be relaxing and not stressful, think about adding in some bath bombs or a personalized sleep mask or even a robe for the day of.
- Day of Gifts – A piece of jewelry like earrings or a bracelet with a knot in it, that they will wear day of, is a perfect way to ask them to help you tie the knot! Don’t forget – Your bridesmaids need to remember to bring these the day of! You are also expected to get a bridesmaid gift as well so don’t go too overboard with Day of Gifts.
- Simple Card – There are many “will you be my bridesmaids” cards that are quick and easy to purchase online. If you want something more personable and meaningful for them to keep for years to come, think about purchasing one of these and writing a heartfelt message inside asking her to be your bridesmaid. For a lot of people, a card with a heartfelt message inside, means a lot more than a gift with their name on it. It is definitely the least expensive option, but depending on your bridesmaids, it could mean the most to them.
